As a busy recent law grad, I'm not the type of person to typically write yelp reviews, but after working with Kelly I felt I had to make an account and post a review because she was simply incredible. I found Kelly when my previous moral character attorney gave me some poor advice about explaining a past misconduct. It turned out, he had me focus on the wrong things when writing my explanation and my analyst had a lot more questions and delayed my application. From the second I e-mailed Kelly, she was super helpful and even began giving me a general game plan of what to before charging me. My previous attorney on the other hand, had a timer running for every second that I talked to him and seemed to be more focused on billing me rather than giving me good advice. He also charged substantially more than Kelly, who charged me a very reasonable student rate. Kelly is so easy to talk to and the best thing is that Kelly used to work as Director of Moral Character Determinations for the State Bar of California, so she knew exactly how to put together a good application and what they were looking for. After speaking with and researching several attorneys I can confidently say, no other moral character attorney has as much experience or knowledge in this area than Kelly. The best thing about working with Kelly was that I felt like she made me a priority and she would consistently follow up with me to make sure everything was in order. Though she is busy, she would always respond quickly, and it felt like I had someone always on hand to answer my question. She is a great attorney and I highly recommend her!!

The BEST moral character attorney out there.
As an older candidate for the state bar, I had some "life experiences," particularly in the financial realm, that led the state bar to deem me problematic for my moral character application. I needed an attorney that could help me properly address these concerns, and I found the BEST in Kelly. I had called several well known "moral character specialists" in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and found them to be kind of rude and condescending at times. I did not feel I would receive personalized service from those folks. When I first spoke to Kelly, she offered some great insights right off the bat, and I also felt she genuinely cared about whether I would get admitted. She provided on point insights and constructive advice so that my file looked the absolute best that it could. Her knowledge of the moral character process is unmatched, and she treats you with respect. You won't find a better attorney to help you get your moral character application looking its best.
